Love this sweet boy. Even though he loves to play outside, getting dirty and sweaty, he still loves to dress up and "look handsome". Can't wait to see both my boys in their Easter Sunday best

It's Easter!

Easter was eventful and busy this year. Here are a few pictures.

(Yes, Lincoln is wearing cartoon pj's. The only time you get to see him in screen tees/cartoons is when he is sleeping and tee teeing. He gets to pick his pj's and underwear).

After church, we headed over to my parents house for lunch and an egg hunt. Uncle John and Cason came and so did our favorite friends, the Wedemeyers. Since my Dad was a music minister when I was growing up, we never traveled over Easter weekend, so we usually celebrated Easter with friends. It was fun to continue that tradition with Lincoln and his friends Ella and Audrey.

SS Egg Hunt

We enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and brunch at a local park with our SS class the Saturday before Easter. Lincoln scored some loot and practice before the hunt the next day.

Lincoln had a great Easter. After church he napped, then we went to hunt eggs, open Easter baskets and eat an Easter meal. Even though Lincoln doesn't understand the meaning of Easter, it takes on an even more special meaning for us this year in having a son of our own and thinking about God giving his son to die for our sins. What an incredible gift. Happy Easter.

Lincoln's BFF Brenden...this looks like an 80's magazine model with his hair whipping in the wind. Such a cutie pie!

I'll post some Easter pics later this week. I need to sort through them and get some printed for family. Lincoln's Easter weekend ended with a temperature of 102.5 Hopefully he's on the mend!
